Still reliable for collectibles

I've been using WorthPoint for years, mostly for sports memorabilia valuation. This time, I needed to check a rare baseball card. The process was as smooth as always. The eBay Sales History feature is consistently updated and very accurate. It's why I keep coming back; I know I can trust their data, which is crucial for my collection.

Good for checking prices

I used the WorthPoint Price Guide to check the value of some old glassware I inherited. It was pretty easy to navigate and I found a few similar items quickly. The database has a ton of info, more than I expected. It helped me decide what to sell and what to keep. Overall, a good experience.

Fantastic for jewelry!

I just used WorthPoint for Jewelry Identification and it was absolutely amazing! The detail in the M.A.P.S. section was incredible for identifying a hallmark on an old brooch. I spent hours exploring the database. It's so much better than just guessing. I will absolutely use them again and recommend it to anyone into collectibles!

Helpful, but could be faster

I signed up for the 7-day free trial to research some vintage clothing. The WorthPoint Library and the Collectible Price History were very comprehensive, and I found a lot of useful data. I did have a bit of a learning curve figuring out all the search filters at first, but once I got the hang of it, it was straightforward. The only minor point is that some of the older auction house results seemed to take a little longer to load than I expected, but it wasn't a deal-breaker. Overall, a solid resource for research.

Great value with the annual plan

I was looking for a good deal on an antique research tool and decided to try WorthPoint. I opted for the annual subscription since it saved me about 20% compared to paying monthly, which was a big plus for my budget. I used the Glassware Identification and the Dictionary of Marks quite a bit. It felt worth the money given how much information I accessed, especially for identifying some pottery marks I was unsure about. Really happy with the savings and the service.

quick question about the free trial. if i sign up and then decide it's not for me, how hard is it to cancel before they charge you? don't want any hassle.

I did the free trial a couple months ago and canceled it before the 7 days were up. It was super easy, just went into my account settings and clicked cancel. No issues at all.

Yeah, I think you just go to your account page. It's pretty straightforward, they don't make you jump through hoops like some other services. Just make sure you do it a day or two before it ends just in case.

Hey, thinking about signing up for WorthPoint to value some old coins. Is it actually legit? Don't wanna waste my money if the prices are way off.

L Lisa C. 1 month ago
Yeah it's legit. I've used it for years for my vintage toy collection and the prices seem pretty accurate based on what I see things actually sell for. They pull from a ton of auction sites.

It's generally considered the gold standard for collectibles. I wouldn't worry about it being a scam or anything. Prices are usually a good benchmark, especially if you're looking at more common stuff. Super rare items can be a bit more volatile anywhere though.
